Bilkisu is a gender-based violence specialist. She has worked as a Research Assistant at Population Council, Enumerator at Mercy Corps, Gender and Outreach Officer and currently works as the Child Protection, Gender Equality and Safe Guarding Officer at HVCF, SCI PLANE W3.  Her core skills include Facilitation, Data collection, and Gender-Based Violence support.

She is the Gender officer for the Tanar Educational Development Foundation.
